Leader in Me Lighthouse School

Mirada was named as a Leader in Me® Lighthouse School by the Franklin Covey Foundation. This prestigious award was the result of our almost four-year journey in implementing the Leader in Me program at Mirada. In order to become a Lighthouse School, a school must meet specific requirements. In February, we submitted an electronic binder with pages and pages of leadership evidence and we went through an on-site review on February 12, 2017. A rubric was used to score nine different areas. Based on our scores, Mirada was designated as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School.
