After School Activities

Mirada Players:

Mirada Players is a music theater ensemble that meets after school for Grades 3-5 in the Mirada Music Room.  Students learn how to sing, dance, and act as a member of the cast or to support backstage as a member of the crew.  Try outs are scheduled for 1/13 and 1/15 with a parent meeting on 1/13.  The culminating activity will be a performance of this year’s original musical production, “Fins”. Performance dates are 4/9 and 4:10 at 6:00 PM in the Mirada MPR.

Mirada Melody Makers:

Mirada Melody Makers is an after school choir that meets every Tuesday from 2:15 to 3:30pm for Grades 3-5 and every Thursday for Grades 1 and 2 from 8/12 to 12/11 in the Mirada Music Room. Performances will include the Fall Festival on November 7th 6:00 PM, Caroling, Concert and Cookies December 12th 6:00 PM, and a trip to Sunrise Senior Living in December.
